President Donald Trump has threatened to sue journalists and writers who use unidentified options, a process that is prevalent in the news media.
In a social media post, Trump aired problems with books and stories being published” with the so-called’ unidentified,’ or’ off the record,’ estimates”.
” At some point I am going to reimburse some of these unscrupulous artists and guide publishers, or even media in public, to find out whether or not these” private sources “even exist, which they generally do not”, Trump wrote.  ,
Trump added that he was thinking about passing a “NICE NEW LAW” to stop reporters from doing these things.
” They are made up, disparaging fiction, and a huge price should get paid for this blatant deception. I’ll do it as a support to our Country. Who knows, maybe we will make some NICE NEW LAW!!”! he wrote.
Using private sources is a common practice in journalism when revealing the cause may throw some aspect of their existence, whether that be health, career, or another, in danger or jeopardy. Journalists who use anonymous sources have recently been able to defend the names of those sources in court proceedings.  ,
Trump’s comments come as he has taken problem with one of his least favourite authors, Michael Wolff, as Wolff published a new book titled All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America. The president, who has recently disagreed with Wolff’s function, called the new publication, which was released Tuesday,” a full FAKE JOB”. According to a review from the New York Times, the book apparently includes Trump’s allies, including his attorney Boris Epshteyn and his billionaire director Elon Musk.
Some people doubted whether Wolff’s book Fire and Fury was fact-checked at all, after many failures, and Trump and liberal media figures have also come under scrutiny for his previous job.  ,
” I can see several places in the book that are incorrect. But for instance, he poorly describes a record in the New York Times. He incorrectly describes a few early-stage events in the presidency. Maggie Haberman on CNN in 2018 said,” He gets the fundamental information wrong.
Trump’s position also came as Karoline Leavitt, a White House press secretary, announced on Tuesday that the White House itself had review hit passes, not the White House itself. The White House will now have the authority to choose who covers the White House. The organization has handled projects for swimming roles since 1924 rather than the White House.
Eugene Daniels, leader of the White House Correspondents Association, responded,” This action savagely breaks the free press in the United States.”
It recommends that the state selects the reporters who will support the president. In a completely state, leaders may not be able to choose their own media corps”, Daniels said.
One day after Leavitt’s statement, the White House pulled two shops, HuffPost and Reuters, from the everyday pool cover and replaced them with right-wing shops, the Blaze and Newsmax.  ,
TRUMP ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCES PRESS ROTATION FOR WHITE HOUSE EVENTS
The press pool includes a rotating group of 18, encompassing one of five television stations, one of 30 print outlets, wire services such, a rotating print seat, a radio seat, and photographers. These individuals communicate news reports to hundreds of other news outlets, travel with the president, and attend daily White House events like speeches or executive order signings inside the Oval Office.  ,
Trump has a long history of criticizing and discrediting journalists for their coverage. He has recently fought legal issues with ABC and CBS’s 60 Minutes.
