An Indiana instructor is accused of providing drugs, sexually abusing several young boys, sending explicit photos of her sexy toys, prostitute pole, and other things. She is alleged to blame her actions on her weight loss journey, saying that she “regrets the moment she lost fat.”
Brittany Fortinberry, 31, from Martinsville, faced sexual abuse claims month after her departure from Eminence High School in late August. According to WXIN reports, her termination came after two pupils accused her of sending them unsuitable images, including nude photos of herself, her dancer pole, and numerous intimate items.
According to court records, a 17-year-old student reported to the People that he recalled his “buddy telling him about a post that she made about wanting to have sex with them, and dreaming about it.”
She is accused of numerous sex crimes, including complaints of performing sexual acts repeatedly with a student. According to court records obtained by WRTV, a 15-year-old student claimed there were at least five more victims, probably as many as ten.
The boy claimed in court papers that the child was referring to the situations as” baby molestation” and that he is present because he doesn’t want her to molest any more children.
” It was no different than a 30-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl”, per the petition and described the alleged encounter as” baby molestation”, he added.
The scholar made it known to the police that Fortinberry first sent incorrect photos via Whatsapp before engaging in numerous intimate contacts, including taking him to French Lick, which is located 70 miles away.
According to his speech, she provided him with elements and made risks of self-harm if he revealed the situations.
The child’s December discovery came four months after Fortinberry’s cancellation, following allegations of sending inappropriate images to other students, including photographs of personal items and training equipment in her home, according to Fox 59.
Items that match earlier descriptions were discovered during authorities searches at her home.
When questioned about first claims, Fortinberry expressed regret about her fat reduction of 150 lbs, suggesting her behavior may have differed had she maintained her past mass, as reported.
The Eminence Community School Corporation, located 35 miles south of Indianapolis, confirmed Fortinberry’s immediate suspension upon receiving initial allegations.
According to FOX59, a Metropolitan School District of Martinsville spokesperson confirmed Fortinberry’s resignation on August 23, 2024.
The affidavit notes that during police questioning, rather than expressing remorse for her actions, Fortinberry regretted her weight loss, stating, she “regrets the day that she lost weight” and “doesn’t think she would run into any of these issues if she was still 150 pounds heavier”.
Fortinberry faces charges including sexual misconduct with a minor, harmful material dissemination to a minor, and contributing to minor delinquency, with ongoing police investigations.
