
U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) recently arrested 16 illegal immigrants as they were attempting to flee from a business in Pass Christian, Mississippi, during a workplace raid.
In a Tuesday press transfer, ICE announced that it had worked with the Drug Enforcement Administration Gulfport and U. S. Border Patrol’s Gulfport Station to perform a “worksite police activity” at Gulf Coast Prestress Partners, which is a company located in Pass Christian, Mississippi.
According to ICE, Gulf Coast Prestress was given a Notice of Inspection and emigration lawsuit, according to ICE. Brokers observed a large group of people running from the rear of the business home while serving the papers and questioning workers. Officials apprehended 18 total fleeing people”.

Following an immigration assessment of the people apprehended in the business attack, Glacier authorities identified 18 people as residents of Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala. 18 international nationals were immediately apprehended by federal immigration officers, but ICE reported that two of the people were later released after their work authorization and immigration judge records were discovered.
Hispanic nationwide, 16 years old, was one of the foreign citizens detained by ICE agents. According to Tuesday’s press release, ICE Gulfport provided “overnight checking” of the 16-year-old and transferred the Mexican federal into prison with the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

According to ICE officers, in Tuesday’s press release, employers are required by federal legislation to check any employee’s eligibility for employment as well as their personality. Companies are also required to submit an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form to verify the information.
As the company tries to “address and inhibit improper employment,” ICE noted that an I-9 examination program is used to “promote compliance with the law” and that it is “promoted compliance with the law.”
Officials added, “ICE’s worksite enforcement strategy includes leveraging the agency’s another analytical disciplines, since site investigations you often require more criminal activity, such as mysterious smuggling, human trafficking, money laundering, document fraud, worker exploitation and/or poor wage and working conditions”.
According to Fox News, President Donald Trump’s administration has increased ICE attacks to detain illegal immigrants, particularly those with criminal records, even though site ICE attacks were not used under former senator Joe Biden’s management.
