McCormick made an appearance on Fox News ‘ Fox and Friends on Thursday following Elon Musk’s performance at President Donald Trump’s first Cabinet meeting. Musk encouraged the Cabinet to work with DOGE, a shift that appeared to show the new agency’s effect.
” I think everyone is aware that we are spending a lot of money where we ought to be.” You wouldn’t want the money taken out of your wallet and spending it on some of these false bills”, McCormick said in reflection. ” But that is just the tip of the iceberg. When you talk about the actual breaks, it’s going to change people’s work. You are referring to the government’s excessive size of laying off a lot of people. We have to remain cautious about messaging. The city hall hit hard on some citizens”.
According to McCormick, Democrats and Republicans expressed frustration with DOGE at a cooked town house a week ago. McCormick was urged to” stand up” against the Office of Management and Budget’s new wing in the White House.
” Yet though we may have to throw them out, we don’t get celebrating it. That’s not something that is taken willy-nilly. We must make sure we are aware that these individuals have mortgages, babies, house payments, and other expenses. We just have to be compassionate”, McCormick said.
McCormick met with the software CEO before Musk’s approval of Trump and later appointment as his adviser, and the collection on compassion was taken from him, according to McCormick. At the time, Musk recommended to McCormick that the Republican Party could be more sympathetic.
