Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, made an effort to recover what was left of his political trust in an interview with Bret Baier of Fox News Channel just days after being unceremoniously kicked out of the White House by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. And boy, did it go awry.

Zelenskyy started the conversation with the appropriate phrases, thanking President Trump and the British individuals for their continued support throughout Ukraine’s three-year conflict with Russia. I was always very appreciative of all of our citizens. You have aided us greatly from the beginning; you have helped us live. Even in such difficult conversations, Zelenskyy said,” We are strategic partners, even in this dialogue,” making him sound like someone who is prepared to capitulate against Trump in order to close this deal.
However, when Baier inquired about whether he owed Trump an explanation for the Oval Office scandal, things started to change. Zelenskyy doubled over,” I respect the chairman, I respect the American people, and… I believe we must be very honest and open, and I’m not certain if we did something wrong.

Never certain if you harmed anyone? Is it not enough to have a large enough idea when you get kicked out of the White House after a yelling match with the world’s innovator? Unfortunately, Zelenskyy also claimed that some of the issues should have been discussed privately, which JD Vance did.  ,
Vance said,” I think it’s rude for you to try to dispute this in front of the American media.”

Zelenskyy at least managed to say the obvious when asked about the common spat:” I think this kind of spit is— I mean, it’s no good for both sides anyhow. And I’m very empty, but I don’t want to shift how we treat Russia because they are terrible for us. The best of our companions is America, while the best of our companions is Europe.
BRET BAIER:” Do you believe that the media’s coverage of the public scuffle in the Oval Office today was beneficial to Ukrainians?”

How does this all finish, as Baier correctly posed the final question? The response of Selenskyy was simply gorgeous:” I think Europe is willing to lend a large army to us. We today want to find a place for our biggest strategic partner. We don’t have the resources to force them out, and we don’t see a lot of new aid for the United States, with all the due respect, ever. We will be prepared with a security assurance.
This demonstrates a startling lack of self-awareness. Trump has made it abundantly clear that he has no desire to be Ukraine’s banks to finance a never-ending conflict that Ukraine cannot succeed. Without the assistance and military technology from the United States, the war would have ended in two months, Trump claimed during the meeting, and not to the benefit of Ukraine.
One thing is for certain: He also wants more money, and this is not 2022, and Americans are no longer interested in spending billions of dollars to support Ukraine’s war efforts.

May we fix this conflict? Zellenskyy asserts that it can:” Yes, of course, because it’s relationships more than two leaders. It’s powerful connections between our individuals, and traditional relations. And because of that, I began to bless our people for your help. And this is the most crucial. And of course, we’re grateful to the leader and of course to Congress, but first of all, thank you to your persons. Your persons made a difference in the rescue of our country. The first is the individuals. People rights, the second. This is extremely crucial. And we are appreciative of this, and regret it. I mean this, folks. We hoped for simply strong relationships. And I’m confident that it will be there.
Do you believe that your connection with President Trump after this is salvageable? asks BRETT BAIER.

What then happens? When may we hope a deal if Zelenskyy really wants to make one? Everything will likely occur as soon as Trump has reportedly already left for the trip in Washington. However, that leaves Zelenskyy with a few days to buy a suit and go back to the White House, demonstrating the appropriate value and closing the deal.
