According to police on Saturday, law enforcement officials detained 20 terrorists, including one Sikh, in Pakistan’s Punjab province who were allegedly connected to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan ( TTP ) on suspicion of being involved in the terrorism.
A Punjab Police Counter-Terrorism Department ( PTD ) spokesman confirmed in a statement that security forces detained 20 TTP terrorists during 162 intelligence-led operations this week across various Punjab regions.
According to the speech,” Three really dangerous members of TTP– Manmohan Singh, Naqeebullah, and Riyaz,” were detained from Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Rahim Yar Khan, respectively.”
According to the speech, the officials recovered 6, 238 grams of explosives, 23 detonators, health wire cable measuring 61 feet, three IED bombs, and prohibited books from their hands.
They intended to take down significant structures in Lahore and different places. According to the speech, 18 cases have been registered against the detained extremists, and more is being done, according to the speech.
