Following a bird attack, FedEx Flight 3609, which was traveling from Newark to Indianapolis, was forced to make an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday, according to authorities.
According to journey data, the flight properly touched down at 8.07 am, only nine minutes after takeoff, and no injuries were reported.
” FedEx Flight 3609 from Newark to Indianapolis experienced a bird reach during flight. Our team declared an emergency and made a safe return to Newark. According to NBC News Philadelphia, FedEx spokesman Austin Kemker expressed gratitude for the crew’s fast behavior and those of the first firefighters.
The helicopter caught fire in flight before making an emergency docking in New Jersey, according to online video.
Officials at the airport confirmed that the airport officials quickly halted air traffic as a precaution, but businesses have since resumed standard.
