After reading only a few pages of Woodward’s 1984 text about John Belushi, Woodward’s 1984 book,” Wired: The Short Life &, Fast Times of John Belushi,” Bill Murray recently spoke with journalist Bob Woodward in strong words.

After Belushi’s horrible dying from a substance abuse in 1982, Woodward wrote the book. It was a thorough research into Hollywood’s darker side, according to the author’s description on Amazon. According to 217 interviews with actors like Chevy Chase, Robin Williams, and Carrie Fisher, Belushi’s widow, and his” Saturday Night Live” co-star Dan Aykroyd were interviewed for” Wired,” which was based on interviews with 217 people. Woodward used memoirs, phone expenses, medical records, first accounts, and firsthand accounts to color a portrait of Belushi’s lifestyle, career, and addiction problems.
Murray, however, was unimpressed.
I read five pages of Belushi’s book,” Wired,” and I read,” Oh my God,” the author of, what’s his name is Woodward. They framed Nixon, Murray said. The close friend of Belushi and artist, who was near to Belushi, was horrified by what he perceived as inaccurate reporting. What the devil could they have done to Nixon if this is what he writes about my friend who I’ve known for the first half of my adult life and is totally inaccurate when they speak to the members of the inner circle about getting the account?
Although Murray acknowledged that he didn’t read the entire book, what he did not observe was enough to enrage him. I acknowledge that I just read five pages, but the five I read made me want to start the fire, he said. I read,” If he did this to Belushi, what he did to Nixon is probably soiled for me, too,” and I went through those five pages.

It appears as though the media misrepresented the true history behind Trump and Zelenskyy’s contentious meeting.
He argued that the journalist relied on sources who weren’t near to Belushi, and he disagreed with Woodward’s procurement. The two publications he had, if he had them for Designed, were so far outside the internal sphere that it was illegal. Cruel”.
Murray even mentioned an intriguing accident. John Belushi is the most well-known man to have ever emigrated from Wheaton, Illinois. The sports player, Harold” Red” Grange, is the next most well-known person to have come from Wheaton, Illinois. And Bob Woodward is the second most well-known people to have been born in Wheaton, Illinois.
For Murray,” Plugged” was more than just a bad book; it was also a friend’s hit.  ,
Bill Murray’s thoughts on Richard Nixon, John Belushi, and Bob Woodward
When I read Bob Woodward’s” Wired” about John Belushi, I read five websites and thought,” Oh my God, they framed Nixon.” What Nixon did to Belushi is definitely also soiled by him, too.

Woodward’s monitoring has been questioned for the first time, far beyond that. His books about” Fear” ( 2018 ) and” War” ( 2024 ) are the subject of severe criticism for dubious assertions supported by unnamed authors. In” Fear,” he attributed damning statements to leaders who blatantly denied making them, which cast doubt on his sources, such as John Kelly and James Mattis. Woodward claimed in” War” that Trump allegedly called Putin several times during his presidency and that he had received COVID-19 check equipment from him, citing an unnamed secretary. The Trump plan referred to the claims as “fabricated,” and no phone logs were actually created to support them.
