
English becoming the standard language of the United States was made established by President Donald Trump on Saturday, the first time the nation has done so in its 250-year history.
English has been used as our nation’s official language since the establishment of our Republic. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are all of Our Nation’s historical governing papers written in English, including those in English. Thus, it has been a long time since English was recognized as the country’s official language. A integrated and cohesive society is served by a nationally recognized language, and a citizenry that can easily exchange ideas in a single language strengthens the United States, according to the executive order.

Trump added that making English the official language would “promote cohesion, cultivate a shared American tradition for all citizens, maintain consistency in federal operations, and make a pathway to political engagement,” adding that this executive order is in the U.S.’s “best interest.”
The order is in response to laws that have been passed by more than 30 says making English their national language.
