Elon Musk, the CEO of X and founder of xAI, endorsed his AI chatbot Grok in a post on X on Sunday (IST). Sharing a post that read, “Don’t Google it, Just Grok it,” Musk responded with a simple “Yes,” employing his signature endorsement style without explicitly promoting the product.
The move comes as Google’s AI-driven services, especially those with speech models and seek capabilities, are in decline.
The most recent incarnation of the bot created by xAI, Grok 3, is being touted as a direct competitor to Gemini, one of Google’s AI versions. Musk has consistently asserted that Grok has the potential to “replace Google Search,” which underlines his desire to issue Google’s dominance in the search business.
A strong claim was made in a blog from an X-affiliated consideration:” Grok 3 will change Google Search. No longer do people use Google to search. They currently employ apps like Grok. Musk’s own reposted the assertion, confirming his company’s desire to compete with the search giant.
Sam Altman, a spokesperson for OpenAI, Alphabet, Google’s parent company, or DeepSeek, a Chinese AI chatbot, have all made these claims, but there hasn’t been a common response. Importantly, Altman has not commented on Grok, but he has since acknowledged DeepSeek’s capabilities in recent interviews.
Grok 3, which is said to have ten times as much processing power as its president, is trained on over 100 000 Nvidia GPU time on xAI’s Colossus computer. Musk praised the chatbot’s skills while speaking at the Dubai World Governments Summit, saying that Grok 3 can sometimes be “funny wise.”
Musk stated on X that the @xA I Grok 3 discharge would increase quickly each day this week following its release. Choose report any problems as a comment on this blog. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, said in a unique change,” Congrats on the progress!” I’m eager to try it out.
On X. Musk, the release of Grok 3 is scheduled for Premium Plus users. The new” Super Grok” membership plan will offer advanced features and early access to new capabilities through the Grok apps and web, grok .com.
Musk encouraged users to stay current, saying,” Make sure to upgrade your X app to investigate all the advanced features, as we’ve just released the release.” He further disclosed plans for a voice-activated function, saying,” The goal is to render it so that you can talk to it like you did a man. Although it should be about a month away, I believe it will be one of the best experience with Grok 3.
