On Monday night, the Senate appointed Linda McMahon as director of knowledge, 51-45.
The Senate advanced McMahon’s candidacy last week by a 51-47 vote along party lines, with no Democrats supporting.

McMahon outlined three objectives for the Department of Education during her testimony in the Senate:
- Talk to parents, not officials.
- Build up profession rather than pay off college loan
- Empowering says, no particular interests
- Invest in faculty, no bureaucrats in Washington.

McMahon stated at her confirmation hearing that the Department of Education had been established in 1980 and that it had spent almost$ 1 trillion on improvements to our performance.
Trump signed an executive order in January, directing the Department of Education to give priority to school choice programs in the Department’s voluntary grant programs, and also directing” the Secretary of Education to challenge guidance on how the States may apply federal funding formulas to help their K-12 scholarship programs.”
McMahon does have a lot to do in the upcoming month.  ,

Linda McMahon was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina, and most just held the positions of head of the Board and the Center for the American Worker at the America First Policy Institute. McMahon was the Small Business Administration Administrator in the administration of President Donald Trump’s government.  ,
McMahon re-envisioned the SBA by putting a focus on rural development and supporting female business owners and soldiers of the armed forces. She oversaw attempts to recover from natural disasters and improved the way the SBA connected small companies to funding, coaching, and government contracts.  ,
She held the positions of seat of the America First Action SuperPAC and America First Policy, LLC after her time in the Trump administration. McMahon was the leader and afterwards the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. prior to beginning her public service profession.

Unsurprisingly, the usual suspects in the Education Cartel and their compatriots in Congress vehemently opposed her election, especially given that President Trump has suggested he will shut down the Department of Education.  ,

Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash. ) took to X to criticize McMahon‘s nomination, saying,” Linda , McMahon‘s big plan for the Department of Education is to keep up Trump and Musk’s pro-billionaire agenda while our schools are robbed of the funding they need to support our country’s students and teachers. I’ll be deciding Never on her confirmation.
Becky Pringle, president of the National Education Association, issued the warning,” The Senate had accept Linda McMahon as Secretary of Education. The plan is definite and harmful. They want to obliterate and degrade common knowledge. Teachers will continue to protect our learners from this , foolish agenda, whether in Washington, through legal actions and claims, or through community actions in local communities across the country.
She did, however, enjoy popular support from Republicans.  ,

The education system has been worsened by the Education Department’s inflated administration, which has failed to improve it. McMahon, and Ms. McMahon have both pledged to “right the deliver” in American education.
