Over 350 people broke their Ramadan fast at Windsor Castle’s State Apartments on Sunday, marking a historical primary at St George’s Hall.
According to BBC, Simon Maples, Windsor Castle’s customer activities director, has long been praised for” championing religious variety and encouraging interracial conversation.”
This important event took place at St. George’s Hall, which is customarily reserved for magnificent ceremonial banquets and condition dignitaries. Following custom, participants eat times and pray before eating their food.
Last week, King Charles and Queen Camilla traveled to the American restaurant Darjeeling Express in London to prepare for Ramadan.
Sharing the time on X, the official Royal Family accounts posted a picture with the message” Packing dates at Darjeeling Express! At sunset during the Ramadan, dates are usually consumed as the first meal to break the rapid. Their Majesties organized the schedules that will be sent to regional facilities for Iftaar during the holy quarter. “,” the message read.
Muslims observe a sunrise-to-sunset hard during the holy month of Ramadan. The Ramadan Tent Project, a charity based in London, organized the complimentary event.
This month marks the second day the MAC has held an Iftar to honor the holy quarter, which started over the weekend.
