It’s not about justice in activity; it’s about eliminating transgender, non-binary, and two-spirit children.
Attempts to prevent women’s sports from being played by biological men were described as” state-sanctioned genocide” by a so-called” two-spirit” state representative in Minnesota.
Rep. Liish Kozlowski, who uses the pronoun” they/them” in legislative sessions, made the comment on Monday during the state’s” Preserving Girls ‘ Sports Act” bill.
The legislation ( HF 12 ), which was opposed by all Democrats in the chamber, stated that “only female students may participate in an athletic team or sport that an educational institution has restricted to women and girls,” and that it failed to pass by a single vote.
According to The Post Millennial,” Adult” was defined as “biologically determined by biology and defined with respect to an adult’s sexual system.”
Kozlowski ( pictured ) noted that” they” are only the” first of many-to come non-binary representatives” and the “only two-spirit representative” in not only the state but also the nation as they began making their remarks.
Kozlowski noted the humor of speaking in a building that was” not for us by us, but intentionally excluded us,” after praising the non-binary person who opened the legislative session with a prayer.
The state was also called the “hit person” by” they.”
We’re seeing this double down on efforts to stoke section, stoke fear, and cause harm to our communities, according to Kozlowski, an unaccountable billionaire from the White House to here in the Minnesota House.

The representative then went on an “oppression” tangent and pointed across the ( political ) aisle to point out how once people first learn about a transgender or non-binary person they actually believe they are “pretty great”:
However, with over 241 attacks on trans and gay people and using the government and courts to bully and hold us accountable for issues that were brought on by corporate ambition on trans people, who make up one percent of the population and are not responsible for why our fee is so outrageously high, and who are we paying for our book, we are forced to use the state and courts to chastise us.
We’ve entered a period of anti-trans assault that was inspired by colonial assault used against two-spirits here for more than 500 years to strengthen and bolster imperial dominance. …
Because the first kids they sought were two-spirits and trans children, they had to understand why this is so closely connected to what we’re discussing now.
Kozlowski added that ( presumably Native ) two-spirit and trans children are held in” the highest regard to visionaries, leaders, name givers” and that” we need these trans and two-spirit kids to become trans and two-spirit adults because they are the ones who lead us in our puberty ceremonies, name-giving, who pass on our culture and our ways of being and knowing.”
Further,” They” added that HF 12 was about “bullying” transgender and non-binary children and that it was” not about fairness in sport… it’s about erasing trans girls, non-binary, and two-spirit kids and people from public life.
Make no mistake: This is yet another example of murder and state-sanctioned abuse.
Kozlowski and Democrat Rep. Brion Curran, the head of the Minnesota Queer Legislators Caucus, both declared that Minnesota must not be comfortable with this cruel and harmful anti-trans rhetoric and that all children should enjoy.
Republican Peggy Scott, who supported HF 12, said,” We don’t permit our women to be vulnerable to injury by a female colleague or adult company.” That is neither safe nor fair to our girls.
