On Wednesday, President Donald Trump issued a “last alert” to Hamas, pleading for the transfer of all of its victims who are still being held in Gaza.
Trump referred to the condition as essential in a article on X, claiming that Hamas does not delay the release of the hostages or the bodies of the dead. He criticized their actions, calling them” sick and twisted” because they held onto the victims ‘ bodies.
A wonderful potential greets, but not if you hold hostages, to the people of Gaza. If you do, you are deceased. Make an informed choice. Transfer the victims right away, or hell will break out in the future. he wrote.
Trump exchanged this information immediately after the president met with eight past captives at the White House.
Trump made it abundantly clear in the declaration that he was giving Israel all the help it needed to “finish the job” in reference to the continuing fight with Hamas. Not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t act as I command, he wrote, adding that” I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job.”
His remarks came as a result of the White House’s assurance that US officials had been speaking with Hamas representatives directly, breaking US policy of never negotiating with the team. The US and Hamas have had their first clear contact since the organization was made a foreign terrorist organization in 1997 during these discussions that took place in Qatar.
The White House has never provided more information about the debate, but it did say that it was working in the people’s best interests. Apparently, Israeli officers were consulted, and their location on the discussions has been made clear.
According to Jewish officials, at least 35 hostages ‘ bodies are believed to be in Gaza, along with the remains of at least 24 victims, including British national Edan Alexander, and about 24 are still alive.
Adam Boehler, Trump’s hostage-related minister, was in charge of the discussions. He is well known for his contribution to the Abraham Accords, which aimed to improve Israel’s relations to Arab countries.
