Donald Trump, the president of the US, praised Elon Musk as the father of his dramatic government efficiency initiative in his first shared address to Congress, causing outrage among Democrats.
Trump declared,” Created the DOGE, perhaps you have heard of it… which is led by Elon Musk, who is in the museum now,” pointing to the Tesla and SpaceX CEO as Republicans slammed in agreement. ” Thank you, Elon,” You are working very hard, I assure you.
As GOP politicians gave him a standing ovation while Musk was seated in the gallery, he nodded and confirmed his de facto leadership position as the de facto slasher-in-chief of Trump.
