Democrat politicians under the limelight for endulging in” shelter citiy” plans testified before members of Congress about illegal immigration.  , Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu were all part of Wednesday’s receiving which were full of “unhinged times” writes Townhall.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer opened the reading with a petition to Congress to cut off national funding for” shelter places”.
” President Biden enacted laws starting on the day he assumed company to help millions of unvetted improper creatures to put into the United States. Many of these illegal aliens have lengthy rap plates including violent atrocities”, Comer said.
” The politicians here nowadays each lead so-called sanctuary cities…These plans only create shelter for criminals. Sanctuary settlements violate federal immigration law…and recover dignity to the American emigration method and the concept of law”, Comer added.
At the beginning,  , all four leaders acted like they were against available edges. But, things went off the wheels when asked what effects should be in place for people who come to the US illegally. Townhall gives example:
Boston Mayor Wu took photos at Trump’s borders king, Tom Homan, for criticizing her capital for allowing improper creatures. Wu claimed that he lied about security her city.  ,
” Send him below under oath and this question him some queries”, she said, adding that he would “bring heaven” to Boston.
Wu argued back-and-forth with Arizona GOP Rep. Paul Gosar about detailed immigration reform.  ,
” If you want to make us safe, move weapons changes”, she said, deflecting from the issue at hand. She added that she doesn’t think her capital needs to follow federal immigration laws.
Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan called out Denver Mayor Johnston for refusing to comply with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE), pointing out that an illegal alien gang member was released by one of his county prison last week. The improper was charged with engine vehicle risk, assault, and felony scary.
ICE had asked for a 48 hours heads-up about this unlawful alien being released. Evidently, they only gave ICE a one-hour see.
South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace ( R ) told Chicago Mayor Johnson that he has a 6 percent approval rating because he” sucks at answering questions”. This came after he refused to answer a plain question about resettling criminals.
” All of the leaders here today are constantly working to hurt the British citizens you represent”, Mace said. ” You all have heart on your hands”.
Democrat New Mexico Rep. Melanie Stansbury called Trump’s efforts to make America safe suddenly “bull***t” and claimed that “immigrant kids” are hurt by his plans.  ,
” It’s complete bull***t. Total bull***t. They are not making America safer and what they are doing is terrorizing immigrant people”, she said, not differentiating legitimate refugees from laborers.  ,
” That is what they are doing. Kids who are scared to send their kids to school. Kids who are worried that they didn’t come home again. Children that are afraid to leave their properties. Migrants who have waited for years to come into this land. And, our leaders are sitting around during this absurd, absurd hearing”, she claimed.  ,
Democrat Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley began violently talking over her acquaintances and resorted to shouting in the reading as she read off a article stating that US-born people commit more murders than newcomers.  ,
Immediately, Comer and Pressley got into a shouting match. During this, Comer called Pressley out on trying to be remarkable to get a position on MSNBC.
Rep. Comer shared the following special speech with Townhall about the reading:
” The leaders of Boston, Chicago, Denver, and New York now refused to reject their places ‘ plans that have created a shelter for legal illegal creatures. President Trump has acted swiftly to secure our nation’s border and now we must ensure the removal of all the criminal illegal aliens who entered during the Biden Border Crisis. If these mayors continue to refuse cooperation with federal immigration authorities, Congress must cease providing them or any other sanctuary jurisdiction with federal funding for failing their basic duty to protect the American people”.
