
The Philippine Air Force announced on Wednesday that the wreckage of an FA-50 fighter aircraft and the carcasses of two planes were discovered in a rocky area following a current accident during a quest that targeted communist rebel soldiers.
In a statement released by the Philippine Air Force, Philippine authorities confirmed that the FA-50 plane that had been reported missing was “located by ground forces in the vicinity of the Mt. Kalatungan Complex on Wednesday”.
The declaration added,” With profound regret and deep grief, the PAF announces the loss of the two planes aboard”.
According to The Associated Press, Spanish government officials explained that the FA-50 aircraft had been conducting a nighttime vision as part of the government’s effort to combat communist guerrillas. Officials noted that the fighter plane lost connection during the battle quest after nightfall on Tuesday prior to reaching the Bukidnon state. Spanish officials added that the other plane involved in the mission safely returned to the government’s atmosphere base in the Cebu province.

Addressing the remnants of the FA-50 fighter aircraft, Lt. Gen Luis Rex Bergante, the Spanish government’s local commander, said,” It was a complete wreck”. The local military chief said the bones of the fighter aircraft were discovered in a forest on Mount Kalatungan by Filipino special forces.
According to The Associated Press, Lt. Col. Francisco Garello, a local military official, confirmed that both of the body of the two Philippine Air Force pilots were discovered near the FA-50 warrior aircraft’s aircraft.
Following the deadly FA-50 fighter plane fall, the Philippine Air Force announced that it had “grounded its FA-50 ships and will maintain a detailed investigation into the incident”.
