US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday signed an executive order to halt security approvals for counsel at Perkins Coie, a law firm associated with Democratic-funded studies during the 2016 campaign investigating possible Russian links to the Republican member.
This motion against Perkins Coie represents the latest in a series of punitive measures by Trump’s presidency against perceived critics, including Department of Justice lawyers, knowledge professionals and personal lawyers.
