Pro-Palestinian protesters vandalised US President Donald Trump’s golf destination in Scotland in protest against his plan to reduce Gaza’s Palestinian people.
The protesters painted” Gaza is not for selling” in big letters on the grass of Trump Turnberry and sprayed purple ink on the clubhouse windows.
The party, Palestine Action, claimed role, saying that Trump treats Gaza” as if it were his house to rid of as he likes”. They added that their behavior was meant to show him that his own home is not beyond “acts of weight”.
Authorities Scotland confirmed an investigation is underway following reports of harm to the beach early Saturday. Trump Turnberry on the other hand dismissed the vandalism as a” juvenile, legal work” and said it would not change company.
The rally comes as the future of Gaza remains questionable following a peace between Israel and Hamas. The second step of the peace ended without a clear agreement on the next steps. However, Trump has called for Gaza’s inhabitants to be entirely relocated so the US you get control of the area. Palestinians have clearly rejected any required movement.
Turnberry, one of the programs ready to host the European Open, has not been selected for the game since Trump purchased it in 2014. The R&, A, the company responsible for the Open, recently stated there were no immediate plans to return the occasion to Turnberry.
