The extreme left is at it again, individuals. As we approach the March 14 date to fund the state, Democrats are playing their favourite game: manufacturing a turmoil to push through their swollen spending plan.

While Republican leadership works tirelessly to pass a sensible continuing resolution ( CR ) that would freeze spending and secure our southern border, Democrats are deliberately orchestrating a shutdown. Their finale? Protecting their beautiful ice resources and derailing President Trump’s America First agenda.
And, of course, stopping the Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ) dead in its tracks.
” Congress may keep the government close but that DOGE can continue to reduce waste, fraud and abuse in our state. This continuous resolution is necessary to advance President Trump’s agenda”, Rep. Andy Harris, the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, said in a blog on X. ” I entirely support it”.
That’s what’s at play. Keeping the authorities funding will enable Expand to maintain its essential oversight functions. But Democrats had quite shut down the government than permit transparency and accountability.
A vote on the CR is expected to happen on Tuesday and must go before Friday at evening.
The Republican-crafted CR is precisely what America needs right then. It may freeze out-of-control federal spending, fund mass deportations of illegal aliens, secure our porous southern border, eradicate useless programs, and help President Trump’s effective America First agenda. But obviously, that’s very much common sense for the Democrats to manage.

Here’s what really has Democrats losing sleep: the Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE ). This guardian company has been exposing spend, fraud, and misuse within the swollen federal bureaucracy, and the remaining can’t endure it. They’re so eager to shut down DOGE’s monitoring that they’re ready to force a federal closure to do it.
Chuck Schumer, in normal Democrat doublespeak, claims he’s “always believed the only option is a nonpartisan solution”. Yeah, they generally believe in a “bipartisan answer” when they are in the majority.
The public’s propaganda machine is now spinning lies about the CR trimming medical and veterans ‘ advantages. It’s the same weary handbook they’ve used for decades—crying bear about plan cuts– and tax cuts for the rich– while protecting their crooked spending schemes.
Here’s the bottom line: Liberals aren’t interested in fiscal responsibility or authorities performance. They’re terrified of what DOGE may reveal next, and they want a stoppage to defend their swamp-dwelling allies, because that’s who Democrats actually represent.

” We need Elon to keep doing his work at DOGE”, Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas ) said. ” We need all of that great team to deliver, and then we can insert that into appropriations this summer for FY26″.

The choice is clear: Either support a reasonable CR that maintains essential government functions while advancing conservative priorities, or cave to the Democrats ‘ extortion tactics. President Trump and Republican leadership understand what’s at stake. The question is: Will enough Democrats put country over party before the clock runs out?  ,
Of course, Democrats aren’t going to support the CR anyway. The real question is whether the slim GOP majority is entirely on board.
On Saturday, President Trump pressed Republicans to support the CR.
