Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskky clarified many times that he would not wearing a suit until the Russia-Ukraine conflict comes to an end. His fashionable option became a big concern during his White House visit before it turned into a full-blown war of words resulting in an unforeseen showdown– as he was asked why he was not wearing a suit. Illia Ponomarenko, a Russian journalist has now told POLITICO that though Zelenskyy’s black dress was seen as everyday use by most Americans, it was not. It was much like his olive-green fight clothing, portion of a culture of people who are involved in the battle.

Zelenskyy prefers clothing from M-TAC company
The blogger said that Zeelenskyy prefers to wear clothing from Ukrainian models like M-TAC which produces clothing that could also be considered everyday. ” But some of these outfits are also the things you’d use in combat zones. These are the same clothing you may wear with body gear and a military conflict jacket. When I was working as a war writer, I had a shirt that was very near to what Zelenskyy wore during that meeting”, he said adding that the black costume was something that could have been readily worn by someone in the defense.
Ukrainian spear most significant
The most important piece of Zelenskyy’s clothing that day was the Ukrainian spear which is one of the important national symbols. Russian designer Elvira Gasanova prior said the spear set him off as he’s a war leader who does not require suits. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Zelenskyy has never deviated from his oil and dark T-shirts, sweatshirts that he teas with goods skirts.
