Former first lady Michelle Obama announced on Monday that she is launching a new audio she will cohost with her nephew.
The new audio is titled IMO, an abbreviation for “in my mind”, and was announced a little less than two weeks into President Donald Trump’s next word. Obama said that her nephew, Craig Robinson, is somebody she can turn to “whenever I have anything on my thinking” and that the two did” share our ideas” on any concerns that viewers have.
” I’m going to be honest”, Obama wrote on Instagram. ” We don’t have all the answers. But there will be a lot of ideas. A lot of understanding. And plenty of giggles. Because we all need some instances of light straight now”.
Higher Ground, a media firm founded by the Obama home in 2018, will make the new podcast. The organization also produces The Michelle Obama Podcast , and , The Light Podcast.
Robinson is the executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and cohosts Ways to Win, a radio with baseball coach John Calipari.  ,
IMO did debut with two shows on Wednesday. Barbie , and , Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse , artist Issa Rae will be the host in the next season.

While former President Barack Obama attended Trump’s commencement, the former first lady did not join him. Following Trump’s win in the 2024 vote, the Obamas congratulated Trump and Vice President JD Vance on their win while acknowledging the effect was” not the goal we had hoped for”.
The news of IMO comes soon after Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA ) launched his own podcast, This is Gavin Newsom, where he expressed interest in talking with the “architects of the MAGA movement”. In his album event, Newsom took a stand against transgender athletes competing in women’s athletics, a striking departure from the location of some Democratic politicians.
