
Steve Witkoff, who serves as a special minister under President Donald Trump’s administration, confirmed on Monday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky apologized to Trump in his new email to the 47th chairman after being forced to leave the White House following a heated gathering in the Oval Office.
During a Monday meeting on Fox News, Witkoff said,” Zelensky sent a letter to the president. He apologized for that whole incident that happened in the Oval Office”.
” I think that it was an essential step, and there’s been a lot of conversation between our team and the Ukrainians and the Europeans who are relevant to this discussion as well”, Witkoff added. ” And I would like to describe it as development. I do hope that there’s a deal”.
During his talk to a joint session of Congress next Tuesday, Trump announced that he had received a notice from Zelensky regarding the government’s dedication to negotiating a relaxing quality to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

Reading a piece of Zelensky’s email, Trump said, “Ukraine is ready to travel to the negotiating table as soon as possible to provide lasting harmony closer. Anyone wants serenity more than the Ukrainians. My staff and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong authority to get a peace that lasts. We do truly worth how much America has done to help Ukraine retain its sovereignty and independence. Regarding the deal on metals and surveillance, Ukraine is ready to mark it at any time that is convenient for you”.
Due to Witkoff’s responses to Fox News on Monday, Newsweek reported that Mykhailo Podolyak, a Zelensky secretary, told a French media outlet that the Russian president would not be apologizing for his part in the cooked Oval Office conference on February 28.
Defending Zelensky’s conduct during his conference with Trump and Vice President J. D. Vance, Podolyak said,” He was completely correct in form and substance when he tried to convey to our American companions the important concept: nothing will be done without persuasion of Russia”.
The Zelensky secretary added,” Our senator hard explains to our companions what this conflict is and who provoked it…So we will not regret for a supposed error that did not take place”.
According to The Post Millennial, leaders from both the United States and Ukraine are expected to meet on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia to explain a peace plan for Russia and Ukraine.
