I spent part of my senior year of high school preparing for school because that was what people in my era was supposed to do. I recall my mom hanging up the phone during my conversation with an Army manager looking to set up an interview at the local McDonald’s. I was going to school, arms over.  ,

While they fancied themselves’ 60s protesters, my parents also had aspirations of me rowing team at Harvard. I had the levels, the juggling, and all that, but we didn’t have the money or cultural influence for that. The Ivies only weren’t in my future.  ,
Be that as it may, I duly showed up for my SAT and ACT and filled out multiple uses. Elite institutions weren’t also on my list. The closest I got was Kenyon, which replied with a very politely worded email inviting me to get my higher learning abroad.  ,
But then, as Spring rolls around and thoughts turn to program directories, some individuals are considering opting out of universities like Columbia, yet if they have an early understanding in their hands. The cause? Also, have you seen Columbia lately?  ,
As it turns out, some individuals are not enamored of the idea of indenturing themselves to student loan to spent four years among wild animals that break windows, harass people, have innovative pajamas parties on the rear, and throw dust bombs. They want a little something to go with that certificate, and a police record is not what they had in mind.

College admissions advisor and Command Education CEO Christopher Rim told The New York Post that in the Fall, students and their parents had some semblance of hope that things may include normalized at Columbia, but they certainly have not. He commented,” Thousands of my customers thought things would get back to normal by now. And by the day the school season starts in the fall, who knows? One thousand things can change once”. He added that some folks like Trump’s radical approach to school conflict. They are available for a return to normalcy.  ,
Antisemitism also plays a role. The report noted that one Israeli scholar in Australia who applied and was accepted to Columbia is on the border. He had wanted to represent his group on campus, but he is really rethinking his intentions, with security as the primary concern.
Columbia is not the only college where people is key in or simply practice barbarism. According to the Free Beacon, Jonathan Tuttle, a Harvard teacher, lost his job for just tearing down photos of the Bibas kids. It takes a truly diabolical level of hatred and connect to do such a point, and people are taking see. One family posted on X:

Most of the people who do not have jewish/Israeli children students in the US Universities don’t really find it- they think we are exagerating or “it was not that bad, really foolish students protesting”.
Let me describe it to you, as a Mom of one-we had to walk our boys out of the… photograph. twitter.com/NbnM0NHHUZ— miha schwartzenberg ( @mihaschw ) March 11, 2025
Clearly, the problem is not confined to Columbia. While the university is now the poster child for pro-Hamas lunacy, colleges and universities have been the center of the schizophrenia pandemic for decades. Americans may not want to say but out loud, but they are sick of the crime, the ignorance, and the selfishness, not just of college kids but the Left in general.  ,
