A 32-year-old person was just rescued from a house in Connecticut after he set it on fire to escape the suffering that his wife subjected him to for the past 20 years, authorities said. Kimberly Sullivan, the 56-year-old wife, is presently facing a slew of fees including violence, kidnapping and unlawful restraint.
Harrowing details have emerged as first responders found that the person lit the fire knowing pretty well that he could have died in the fire. But it was his parting to get rid of his career confined in an 8-foot by 9-foot place which did not include heating or air conditioning. The guy said he had been held captive since he was about 11 years old when he was pulled from school. Since then, he had been held in captivity. He next left house when he was 14 or 15 years old. His parents, he said, used to let him out of the place to do tasks and watch television. Following his family’s dying in 2024, his care by his wife worsened.
‘ Drank out of the bathroom plate ‘
The victim said he was given only two cups of water per day and used to drink out of the bathroom pitcher when he had the chance. Every moment, he was given two sandwiches to have. When he was a girl, he said he had to ejaculate inside containers and employ newspapers to relieve himself. ” He may then move the document up, connect it with string he unraveled from ancient T-shirts and finally bring it to the kitchen garbage when he was letting out”, the court filing said.
He was not given any lotion and used to swim in the little liquid that he used to save from his drinking water. The target said he used to count vehicles from the window and learned to read from a dictionary.
The person has not been identified but surprising information of his bodily health have been revealed that he weighed less than 70 weight and when he was rescued he did not have a right bath for around two times. He had serious tooth decay as he told officers that parts of his teeth may crack when he ate.
The mother’s attorney claimed that Sullivan did defend the charges as she did not do the items that she was accused of.
The principal of the school that the person attended told NBV that the school officials alerted the police when the child stopped attending courses but no action was taken.
