OpenAI journalist Suchir Balaji’s cause of death has once again been questioned by his family, who is staying strong on murder conspiracy charges.
Sharing a picture of Suchir from the day of suicide, Poornima Rao took to social media platform X, questioning the investigation, claiming the use of sedatives. ” Suchir’s picture on the day of his death at 7.30 pm, getting dinner. This is from CCTV images. OCME saw this picture and still concluded he was depressed and called it suicide”, she said in her article.
More casting questions, she added,” Another include by OCME: they stated to our lawyer that GHB is systemic 3 weeks after dying. But we found out that amount of systemic GHB is less than 5000ng/L. A column in postmortem report says that toxicology report may contain GHB only if it is more than 50000 Ng/L. Combined with beer this is a stimulant. With this mixture he may be losing body control or maybe unconscious. We are waiting for pharmacologist to provide a written document”.
Eventually, she made another article alleging that some of the CCTVs near her father’s vicinty,” One more punishments finding CCTV in storage of Suchir’s flat and companions stopped working. One of the elevator Video even stopped working. This m*rder crime is executed over long term preparing and watching Suchir”.
She also shared other people’s publish who shared her views. One X person identified as Mia Stretch commented,” Suchir DID NOT Take his own Life! Suchir was no depressed—utterly the same! He was a courageous force, brimming with furious determination, unwavering happiness, and a blazing strength, pouring every ounce of his radiant spirit into a continuous pursuit of justice”. In reply Ramarao replied,” He was like that since he was born”. ” Its staged as death we know”, she replied to another person.
Suchir Balaji’s family has raised worries over the death in the past as well. In a post on X next quarter, Poornima Rao wrote” We received the autopsy report last Friday. Our lawyers and we disagree with their decision”. She stated that the document contains” lots of inconsistencies” and that its inferences do not coincide with the details. The community has now taken their own actions in the investigation, sending the recovered locks sample for testing. ” We are fighting for justice and will not again down”, Ramarao added.
Despite, the incident, officials have maintained Balaji’s cause of death a murder. The San Francisco Police Department ( SFPD ) and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ( OCME) released a joint statement and a 13-page medical examiner’s report in February, reaffirming their initial finding that Balaji died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, as per Fortune. ” The OCME found no evidence or knowledge to create a cause and manner of death for Mr. Balaji different than a death by self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head”, the medical examiner’s report stated. ” SFPD conducted an independent inspection and based on the information SFPD reviewed, there is insufficient evidence to find Mr. Balaji’s suicide was the result of a homicide”, it added.
The crime in the case, found support with Elon Musk even hinting at bad play. ” This doesn’t seem like a suicide”, Musk said in a comment to Suchir Balaji’s mother, who at the moment even raised doubts on the research. Therefore in January this year, Musk when once called the circumstance “extremely concerning” while sharing a picture from Tucker Carlon’s YouTube channel which also raised questions on labeling the situation a’ death’.
