Following a series of setbacks defending President Donald Trump’s plan against dozens of lawsuits, an appeals court on Friday lifted a stop on executive orders that sought to end state support for variety, equity, and inclusion programs.
As a result of a three-judge panel’s determination, the directions are put to effect while a lawsuit is brought against them. A federal judge in Baltimore was granted a nationwide order by the courts.
