UK Conservative MP Bob Blackman narrated the legends that surround the event of colors while extending Holi wants in the House.

Hindu mythology claims that the Demon king Hiranyakashyapu ordered his sister Holika to eliminate Prahalad because he was angry with his child Prahlad for his unwavering dedication to the God Vishnu.
Following her son’s advice, Holika, who received a gift from the heaven that flames would not hurt her, set herself on fire with Prahlad on her chest. Prahlad remained uninjured as a result of God Vishnu’s blessing.
