The Senate passed a motion to obstruct discussion on the ongoing resolution passed by the House to finance the state through September, another terrible battle for Chuck Schumer and his merry group of Democrats.

Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska ) received the motion’s 60th vote.
The voting was 62-38, exceeding the 60-vote limit.
The Continuing Resolution will undoubtedly go a ground vote once the conversation is over, funding the authorities for another six weeks.
Democrats were betting last week that President Trump wouldn’t be able to move the CR in the House. The CR was passed by the House on Tuesday in a 217-213 voting, which sent Senate Democrats scrambling.  ,
Finally, on Wednesday, a heart-pounding Schumer fearlessly declared that” Republicans do not have the seats in the Senate to invoke cloture on the House CR.”
Spoiler alert: They did in fact.  ,
According to Schumer, “funding the state should be a republican endeavor.” However, Republicans opted for a political route, writing their continuing resolution without the assistance of congressional Democrats.
Liberals scrambling for handle after Senate Majority Leader John Thune skilfully called Schumer’s hill.
The Democrats ‘ decision to withdraw from the CR wasn’t totally unexpected. Democrats were now working on a retreat strategy behind closed doors despite Schumer’s say that the GOP didn’t include the votes, and by Thursday night, Schumer had announced he would vote for the CR.

In a statement on Thursday on the Senate surface, Schumer said,” I believe it is my task to make the best choice for the state to minimize the harm to the National people.” ” I will voting so to keep the government available and not to shut it down.”
Of course, he still continued to push his own false narrative that the GOP desired a closure.

He claimed without any supporting data that there is anyone in the world who wants to shut down the government more than Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
Schumer continued to be embarrassed as he attempted to explain to the extreme left-wing basic why he was capitulating to Trump despite the fact that his efforts to preserve face were a workshop in social gymnastics.
The Republican costs is a bad choice. He claimed that this is not a spotless CR. However, I think it’s much worse to allow Donald Trump to retake control of the government through a government closure.
Translation: According to our domestic voting, the general public may hold the Democrats responsible for the government shutdown.
In a statement on MSNBC on Thursday night, Schumer called MAGA Republicans “bastards,” noting that he is unhappy with the CR position.

He whined,” To have the issue on the best floor, we have, summed up in a word, that they’re making the middle school give for tax breaks for billionaires.” It’s much, much better not to be in the middle of a shutdown, which distracts people from the main problem we have with these idiots, which is that they are ruining democracy, not just all these cuts.
Democrats are in total meltdown over funding the government, according to  .
Despite supporting a Republican bill they vowed to oppose, it was obvious that Democrats would try to use their support for the CR as a bold stand against Trump. Trump and the GOP were assured victory when their so-called “resistance” crumbled once more. Schumer might want to check his leverage next time before trying to bluff.
