Thanks to the Continuing Resolution’s passage on Friday, the federal government managed to avoid another closure. Because Republicans don’t have enough votes to veto policy, it was unclear whether it would even move. It turns out they did because Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N. ) is a member of the Democratic Party. Y. ) was calling his hill after calling his mountain.

The real story here isn’t, however, the controversy over funding the state. It’s about how the Democrats ‘ laughably contradictory relationship with the filibuster is finally catching up with them.
Do you recall the days when Democrats argued that the legislature was prejudiced? AOC, a member of the Quad, referred to the senate as a” revered relic of segregation.”
But delay, did AOC not demand that Senate Democrats veto the CR? Yes, she did, so why.  ,
It’s strange how that functions, isn’t it? Unfortunately, it’s what we’ve grown to expect from the Democrats.  ,
This travel down memory lane. Twenty years ago, Democrats had no difficulty utilizing the legislature to obstruct President George W. Bush’s criminal contenders. However, the filibuster instantly turned bad when Republicans gave them a style of their own treatments while Obama was president. Harry Reid went nuclear and ruled out the legislature for lower-court nominations in 2013, which was a spectacular error when President Trump used that same principle change to verify a record number of conservative courts.  ,

Which brings me to previous Arizona senator Kyrsten Sinema, who steadfastly defended the legislature despite her own party’s opposition. Sinema’s own party’s outcry over her failure to support the filibuster’s removal so that the Biden plan may be stomped through Congress sparked a movements that made her utterly unviable to Arizona Democrats. Sinema lost her job after her steadfast support of the senate, and she is now criticizing her former acquaintances in Congress for their duplicity.  ,

Democrats really have guidelines in place of rules in the Senate, which is crystal clear. It’s crucial for politics when the legislature assists them. When it hurts them, it is prejudiced. The conflict over the CR served as a perfect illustration of why administrative protection shouldn’t be used for political gain in the long run. They wouldn’t even have been able to block the CR had Liberals axed the legislature.
Remember this moment the next time Democrats start arguing about Senate laws. Their rules last for about as long as they are politically expedient, not even a minute.
You’ll learn everything you need to know about the Democrats ‘ true plan from their blatant dishonesty on the senate. Want to receive more in-depth study that exposes the media’s twice standards?
