If Europe fails to strengthen border controls, US Vice President JD Vance warned that” Germany did commit murder” if it does so.
In a Thursday interview on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle with number Laura Ingraham, Vance stated that” to some countries are unable or unwilling to control their edges,” underscoring the increasing difficulties that Western countries are facing in managing movement.
He more expressed concern about Western governments restricting citizens ‘ right to free speech, especially when they protest immigration-related issues, by saying that” Europe is threatened with ideological suicide. They are either unable to or willing to maintain control over their edges. What we’re seeing right now is how they try to resist that, which is fine and is the right thing to do.
You even see them beginning to encroach on the right to free speech for their own people, yet as they protest issues like border crossings. [ These protests ] were the catalyst for the election of Donald Trump and a number of European leaders, Vance continued.
The Vice President also expressed grave concerns about the country’s coming and the country’s growing restrictions on individuals ‘ right.
Germany may commit suicide, he said,” If you have a country like Germany where billions of immigrants come from different nations that are completely culturally incompatible with it, billions of people will leave.”
” I hope that doesn’t happen, because I love Germany and want it to prosper,” he continued.
The condition Vance discusses first appeared in the fall of 2015, when the EU experienced a sizable rise in illegal arrivals from North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. According to data from the European Union Asylum Agency ( EUAA ), 25 % of all EU asylum applications were submitted in Germany in the first half of 2024.
Vance more affirmed the government’s dedication to putting greater border control controls into effect, highlighting its commitment to enforcement of Trump’s immigration policies.
He cited a decline of more than 95 % of border crossings since Trump’s inauguration in January as evidence of major accomplishments in the area. The administration then prioritizes deportations after border issues have been fully resolved, stating,” We’re building that capacity away.”
Vance criticized former US presidents Biden for underfunding detention facilities and weakening Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE), which presented operational challenges for Trump’s team.
He applauded Kristi Noem, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, and Tom Homan, the “border czar,” for putting forth volunteer departure initiatives.
” We’re going to inspire a lot of people to self-deport,” the group said. We don’t need to push on your property. Why don’t you board a plane and drive apartment alone before that happens? Added.
