Elon Musk disclosed on social media platform X that the Starship of SpaceX will leave for Mars at the end of the time. Tesla’s humanoid machine Prime would also be on board the goal.
People missions could start as early as 2029 or 2031, according to the tech mogul, if the original landings go smoothly.
Musk made this comment as he defended another movie that honors SpaceX’s 23rd anniversary.
Musk has long emphasized the necessity of colonizing the purple world, citing the necessity for human survival in the long run. He claimed that establishing a self-sustaining individual colony on Mars may help protect society from existential threats like nuclear battle or climate catastrophes.
SpaceX, Musk’s space agency, is working on developing innovative spacecraft and infrastructure to support animal life on Mars.
But, US President Donald Trump made it clear prior in March that he had no intention of putting people on Mars as a top priority.
He acknowledged the popular interest in interstellar travel, but he added that the US government should not automatically prioritize it.
