A Pakistan International Airlines ( PIA ) domestic flight made an unexpected landing at Lahore airport, as a source has confirmed. The incident took place as the takeoff was on Thursday morning.
The standard reported that the rear wheel of the PIA journey PK-306, which was en route from Karachi to Lahore, was missing when it landed at the airport in Lahore.
A PIA standard informed PTI news agency that an investigation had begun. They are looking into whether the plane left Karachi without the vehicle or if it detonated while taking off. The official said that it appears that one of the back wheels was in poor shape when the aircraft started.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed that Lahore airport’s and Lahore Airlines ‘ flight health teams are looking into the event and will report their findings. He assured that the plane’s design takes into account these circumstances, ensuring both the safety of the passengers and the tools. According to the director, the inspection will also take into account the unfathomable possibility of vehicle theft.
According to the director, the PK-306 made its scheduled landing. During the pilot’s regular walk-around inspection, passengers generally disembarked, and the missing wheel was discovered. One of the six wheels on the aircraft was missing, and it was its primary landing gear.
