Ukraine’s conditional approval of the plan for a ceasefire
Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire request from US President Donald Trump, subject to Moscow’s new hostilities, despite recent tensions between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Putin, the president of Russia, has rejected these problems and otherwise proposed conditions that go beyond the US-Ukraine agreement’s purview.
Since returning to office in January, Trump has prioritized ending the three-year issue, particularly by enhancing ties with Putin.
Putin had “everever deal”
However, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer urged 26 world leaders to “enforce” Ukraine’s place, “protect” possible ceasefires, and maintain tension on Moscow following a digital London conference. Starmer criticized Russia’s difficulties, citing requirements for “extensive analysis” before implementing the proposed truce, and suggested He would later negotiate.
Despite Moscow’s ongoing opposition to international troops, both Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron expressed commitment to deploy soldiers in Ukraine.
A follow-up meeting is scheduled for Thursday in the UK after military leaders from around 30 countries convened in Paris on March 11 to explore military operations.
New developments include Russian territorial gains in the Kursk region, Ukrainian drone strikes in Belgorod causing harm to three residents and injury to Ukrainian structures in Chernihiv.
