Former Republican Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger appeared glad to catch President Donald Trump‘s attention again after he said the Jan. 6 committee’s work is “the thing that embarrasses” the president the most.

Trump announced Sunday that former President Joe Biden‘s controversial pardons, issued toward the end of his presidential term, are “void” due to the former president’s use of an “Autopen,” as Biden didn’t sign or know “anything” about these pardons. Kinzinger and other members of the select committee on the Jan. 6 Capitol protests were among those granted preemptive pardons from Biden.

“He’s obsessed, he’s more obsessed with, like, me and Liz Cheney than his freaking golf score,” Kinzinger said in a video posted to X. “Hey Trump, bring it on, dude! You weak, whiny, tiny man, who, by the way, I saw a picture of you this weekend. You’re hiking up your pants now to really just below your man boobs, and you’re sweating so much. Looking pretty bad there.”

Donald, bring it. I’m so tired of your victimy whiney belly aching crap. You friggin won and you STILL are complaining all the time.

Kinzinger then repeated his urge for Trump to “bring it” and asked him to “stop with all the big-mouth talking stuff.”

The former lawmaker said in January that he did not want a pardon from Biden prior to them being issued, citing how people look guilty “the second you take a pardon.” Kinzinger argued he was not guilty of anything outside of “bringing the truth to the American people.”

Since leaving Congress, Kinzinger endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris’s bid for the presidency in 2024 and collaborated with Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink to work on a film titled The Last Republican. The film details Kinzinger’s last year in Congress while investigating the Jan. 6 protests, with the former lawmaker calling it “a living record” of the committee.
