Americans are more displeased with Democrats and the party than ever, according to a new CNN surveys conducted by SSRS. The Democratic Party’s preference score total is only 29 %, which is a record low in CNN‘s poll since 1992 and a 20-point decline since January 2021, when Trump resigned from office after the January 6 election.
Democrats-aligned adults claim that the Democratic Party’s leadership is currently heading the party in the wrong direction, according to 52 % to 48 % of adults.
Democrats and independents who align with Democrats say they should work with the GOP majority to incorporate some of their ideas into legislation, according to the poll, 57 % to 42 %, respectively.
The ballot is reported by CNN:
The court’s want to challenge the GOP represents a major shift in how the party has behaved since Trump’s first term. A majority of Democrats and Democratic leaners believe their party should collaborate with Republicans to advance their own goals, according to a poll conducted in September 2017, while only 23 % support a more aggressive strategy.
Additionally, according to CNN, only 63 % of Democrats and independents with ties to the Democratic party report having a favorable opinion of their own party, a “dip from 72 % in January and 81 % at the beginning of President Joe Biden’s administration.” Since liberals and reformers have fallen by 18 items since the start of 2021, Biden’s leadership has had no impact on the group.
