Following next week’s decision that eliminated some of the Department of Government Consistency’s staff cuts, the White House made a statement about Elon Musk’s request to impeach federal judges.

Elon Musk, a billionaire and head of the Department of Government Performance, stated last week that” the absolute worst” courts may be impeached after a federal judge appointed by former president Bill Clinton ordered the Trump presidency to rejoin thousands of temporary employees who were fired as part of the administration’s efforts to reduce the size of the federal government.

We don’t had genuine democracy in America without judicial reform, he wrote on X.

Without administrative reform, which would result in the impeachment of at least the worst magistrates, there is no real democracy in America.— Elon Musk ( @elonmusk ) March 14, 2025

However, President Donald Trump did not make these names on Monday, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

When asked about the speech, she responded,” I have never heard the senator talk about ousting magistrates.” ” I know you mentioned Mr. Musk’s message, but I haven’t heard the president of the United States ask that.”

Although that is all she said, it may indicate that the Trump administration is separating itself from Musk given how the South African continues to face unrest in the state.

In response to rumors of strain between Musk and Cabinet authorities, Trump convened his cupboard earlier this month to repeat that administration leaders, not Expand, have the ultimate say over hiring and firing.

In spite of his violent efforts to reduce the federal workforce, Musk has increasingly faced legitimate setbacks, Democratic protests, and even some Republican criticism.

45 schools are being investigated by the Trump Education Department for “race-based” programs.

Other instances include Trump director Chris LaCivita repeating that Musk is” no leader” after making provocative remarks about cutting Social Security and Vice President JD Vance saying that Musk made “not president”>mistakes” following the Cabinet meeting.

Trump and Musk continue to communicate closely, and they regularly fly up on Air Force One. Trump hosted a Tesla car show last week at the White House in response to calls to ban Musk’s automaker.
