This is not the Disney remake that may eventually be released. The contemporary Disney Co. should not have remade” Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,” because it has lost the creative spirit, artistic talent, and appreciation for American classics that made Walt Disney’s unique film one of the most recognizable and beloved films ever.

Yes, I know everyone is sick of hearing about Rachel Zegler, the Wokest of Them All, but since the first Snow White, which is still one of the highest grossing movies of all time, is a personal favorite and it’s the weekend, let’s look at what used to create Disney movies wonderful and why they never more are. The business lost everything that promotion and money cannot compensate for. The Seven Script Nightmares are as cruelly strange as the original animated dwarfs were, and Bob Iger is no Walt Disney, Rachel Zegler is no Adriana Caselotti.
Walt Disney was the epitome of the American Dream. He went from being a starving artist unable to afford meals and shoes to an international celebrity. But he did that because he had an extraordinary vision for the future, inventing entire new industries, while at the same time resurrecting old European, African, and American classics for new generations. He hired talent regardless of skin color, sex, or religion, putting merit over physical attributes. And it really did help that Walt was a devout Christian and a Republican, pious and patriotic. All of this is why his films such as “Snow White” and “Pinocchio” and “Mary Poppins” could capture the charm of foreign cultures, while still appealing to American audiences. But he also educated Americans on their own heroes, including

Davy Crockett and John Henry. Animation, live action, history, nature documentaries, technological innovation, theme parks — Walt had something to offer everyone.
The Disney company struggled after Walt’s premature passing, but it eventually gained success with movies like” The Lion King,”” Monsters, Inc.,”” Robin Hood,” and” Tangled.” The films and theme gardens continued to be creative, the music brilliant, and the characters memorable. Disney collaborated with other well-known brands and companies, including Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar.  ,

Finally, someone unexpectedly happened. The business grew increasingly uninteresting, more focused on promoting LGBTQ ideology ( which would have appalled conservatives like Christian Walt ) and CRT, with a focus on having a certain number of women and minorities who were more capable of producing original, original, and popular content. Walt Disney was more interested in stories and characters than culture and politics, and he lobbied for him to win an Oscar when that was still taboo. He was also one of the single Americans to have effective goodwill efforts in South American countries.

Not more is that accurate. Disney should never have attempted to copy Snow White, in this regard. They lack the capacity to do so properly. Nearly all of Disney’s live-action remakes have been poor or terrible, and” Cinderella,” one of the few exceptions, was an excellent example of a contemporary Disney film putting talent before leftist ideology and relying on characters and creative background rather than checking out DEI boxes. Because Disney made fun of hiring an actress who isn’t white, the new” Snow White” appeared to be awakened right away. The emphasis was placed on appearance rather than skill. Snow White isn’t really winter light; it’s one of the few fables with a thorough explanation of the lady. It’s not racist to get surprised that. In any case, Disney has since proven to be intent on destroying its own common.
And of course, Zegler’s cast was everything. Disney first tried to be very awake by adding non-dwarf players, next created CGI dwarfs that resembled drunken nightmare characters in subsequent films. Then the sun continued to make idiotic remarks about who a radical feminist ( and her character ), how she supported jihad-loving Palestinians, and specifically how she hoped Trump and MAGA would “never know peace.”

Adriana Caselotti, Snow White’s classic voice, did not only act and sound like her. Adriana appeared to have been very kind to Walt in public because she had acted badly for him because she was upbeat and sparkling, and she loved to share her joy with others. Zegler is the anti-Snow White, unhappy, nasty, entitled, sad, and condescending, but she was Snow White. Gal Gadot is not as talented an artist as Lucille La Verne, the initial Wicked Queen. Additionally, the prince ( Harry Stockwell, in the original ) reportedly has been moved to a supporting role in place of the climate hero in the new film. Additionally, a closer look at the CGI dwarves reveals that the version lacks the excellent artistry of the original.
The contemporary Disney Co. has lost its authentic charm. And it won’t ever remake legends that once made Disney’s movies world-famous until and unless it awakens from the cursed slumber of awakening.
