The lawsuit filed by Voice of America editors, Reporters Without Borders, and many organizations against the US Agency for Global Media and Kari Lake, Trump’s appointed agent, is being heard in the US District Court in New York.
Voice of America was established during World War II and is a self-contained information source that broadcasts to nations under authoritarian law. It is funded by the US Congress and operates according to a contract that upholds literary standards.
The lawful document alleges that the Trump administration made an unconstitutional closing within the last year. Although management refutes these statements as false, traditional critics have alleged left-wing partiality in its monitoring.
According to the petition,” the second Trump administration has attempted to screen the company as a whole in an attempt to do so.”
