The classic blue birds logo from the former San Francisco headquarters of Twitter has been sold at auction for$ 34,375. After Elon Musk changed its name to X, the 560-pound ( 254-kilogram ) sign, which measures 12 feet by 9 feet (3. 7 meters by 2. 7 meters ), was taken down.
RR Auction, a business that specializes in unique and collectible things, organized the auction. The homeowner’s personality has not been made public, though.
Musk had recently sold a number of items from Twitter’s history, including memorabilia, office furnishings, and even kitchen equipment.
Prior to Elon Musk’s rebranding as X in 2023, the iconic animal symbol, known as” Larry” after baseball person Larry Bird, served as a determining component of Twitter’s personality.
Additionally, the social media giant’s main office underwent a major renovation, with the removal of its iconic orange bird decorations and the addition of X-themed meeting rooms and dark walls.
Other notable tech-related items included a sealed first-generation 4GB iPhone, which sold for$ 87, 514 and an Apple-1 computer with accessories, which sold for$ 375, 000.
