According to Hamas officials, an Israeli attack on Sunday killed Hamas social chief Salah al-Bardaweel and his spouse.
According to Reuters ‘ report, both Bardaweel, a part of the team’s political business, and his wife both died in the attack, citing pro-Hamas media sources.
Israel ended the ceasefire on Tuesday, starting new aerial and floor operations against Hamas, the country’s major Palestinian militant organization, after two months of relative peace. As Israeli airplane targeted several locations early on Sunday, explosions occurred across the north, key, and southern Gaza Strip, indicating an increase of Tuesday’s offensive, according to witnesses.
