Donald Trump, the president of the United States, was greeted with enthusiastic shouts and slogans of” USA!” USA”! as he watched the final matches of the 2024-25 NCAA wrestlers finals on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Trump’s senate representative from Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, said the enthusiastic welcome was a sign of the respect for the leader that the audience had for him.
They have regard for a warrior. That is “right at President Trump’s base,” Mullin said on Fox &, Friends Weekend the following morning. He” couldn’t have been more at house in that group” than any other fighter there, including myself.
Elon Musk, the head of Tesla and SpaceX, Jim Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Dave McCormick, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, and Linda McMahon, a former WWE professional and present education minister, were among Trump’s allies.
Trump apparently turned to Mullin and remarked on the public’s jubilation during the occasion.
He said,” They definitely love me around, don’t they?” I responded,” Sir, they do. He asked,” Why do you think that?” And I said to him,” Sir, every man in this tower, and I’d suggest a lot of the women, have been punched in the face.” We are fans of wrestling, Mullin said,” They value a fighter and they regard you.”
The senator also made a mockery of President Joe Biden, claiming that for a reception would be unlike anything else.
They haven’t been chanting” USA” if Joe Biden walked into that area. They would get reciting something else, Mullin remarked.
Trump has recently attended the 2023 function in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and this is his second time in three years.
