What started out as a regular conversation quickly turned into a heated and odd moment as Sanders became overly irritated by Karl’s doubting.
Smith initially had nothing but praise for Ocasio-Cortez, calling her “extraordinary” and saying he was” so intrigued by her job in Congress.” He claimed that she had inspired young people all over the nation and that she was anxious to sing her praises. Sanders ‘ tone drastically changed when Karl more inquired, asking if he would like to see Ocasio-Cortez visit the Senate. Before responding, he paused and stumbling through his response. ” I — As I mentioned, there are only a lot of people in the Congress right now. Okay, Jonathan, thanks, he immediately said, trying to end the dialogue right away, even before getting up.

Sincerely, Sanders ought to have anticipated that topic and been prepared with a better response.
