Due to President Donald Trump’s stated purposes to seize the Swedish country, Greenland Prime Minister Mute B. Egede has criticised an upcoming US delegation’s attend, including next girl Usha Vance, as “highly aggressive,” further straining relations.
Vance, the marriage of US Vice President JD Vance, may travel to Greenland to watch the regional dogsled competition and learn about the lifestyle there. According to the CNN, national surveillance director Mike Waltz may also accompany her on the visit.

Greenland PM Egede questioned the motivations behind sending a national security adviser to Greenland in an appointment with Sermitsiaq news on Sunday.
What is the Greenland regional security adviser up to? The single goal is to demonstrate our strength,” Egede said. His mere presence in Greenland may undoubtedly bolster National faith in Trump’s quest, and the pressure will mount.
According to Trump’s invasion plans, especially given its strategic reserves of unusual world minerals and growing Arctic opposition between the US, Russia, and China, the area has gained global attention. Despite strong opposition from Denmark and Greenland, Trump has consistently pushed for US power.
Trump said during a speech to a joint session of Congress earlier this month that” I think we’re going to find it one way or the other.”
Egede, who backs Greenland’s freedom from Denmark, noted that Trump’s government’s political efforts have failed to address its desire to control Greenland.
Egede will remain prime minister until a new partnership forms despite his party’s new political fight. Jens-Frederik Nielsen, who succeeded him, criticized the schedule of the British visit, citing ongoing discussions and municipal elections.
Vance’s visit was described by the White House as historical, with an emphasis on historical places and the Avannaata Qimussersu dogsled race. This extraordinary high-level group to the culture has sparked controversy.
From colonial rule to self-governance in 1953, Greenland’s marriage with Denmark expanded, with expanded power granted in 2009, with an expanded scope for the latter. Denmark is still in charge of security, defense, overseas and economic matters, but Greenland advantages from joining the Danish EU and NATO.
Mette Frederiksen, the prime minister of Denmark, praised the US delegation’s commitment to cooperating while upholding independence rules.
