Liberals were in pseudo outrage after Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic reported that he had been mistranslated in a conversation on Signal with top Trump administration officials about a planned military attack on Houthi rebels in Yemen. Although Goldberg claimed that the chat contained” classified” details, that is misleading.

The big question that remains is how Goldberg ended up in the conversation on Signal in the first place, even though this wasn’t the incident Democrats hoped it would be.
They are aware that it was a member of National Security Advisor Mike Waltz’s staff, according to President Trump.
When questioned about how Goldberg was added to the Signal conversation, Trump responded,” It was one of Michael’s people on the phone. A staff member had his range on that, yep.

In a separate email, leading Democrats in the House Armed Services, Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Management committees demanded answers regarding different instances where senior officials “discussed federal safety issues” “using the Signal messaging service or any other messaging service application that has not been approved for the transmission of categorized information.”

However, the Democrats ‘ main points on this story immediately vanished. CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed on Tuesday that the Biden administration approved the Signal communication software for use by the government in an earlier report from PJ Media.
