In a rare public demonstration against Hamas and the ongoing fight with Israel, hundreds of Palestinians marched through the remnants of war-ravaged settlements on Wednesday.
The presentations, which started on Tuesday in Beit Lahiya, lasted for a next day as demonstrators expressed their outrage over the 17-month-long conflict that has devastated Gaza. While some chanted for the end of the conflict, some openly criticised Hamas.
Around 3, 000 protesters chanted,” The people want the fall of Hamas,” while dozens of men yelled,” Up, up, out!” in Gaza City’s Shijaiyah area. Hamas, leave now”!

Ammar Hassan, who was present at the protests on Tuesday, claimed that they started with a few hundred people before swelling to over 2,000 as marchers turned their anger toward Hamas.
” We know the job won’t end, but they can put strain on Hamas,” Hassan said.
Hamas ‘ comment and growing unease
In the past, Hamas has used force against opposition, but no apparent solution to these demonstrations was reported. Bassem Naim, a senior Hamas standard, acknowledged the demonstrations and stated on Twitter that “people have the right to rally,” but that he argued that Israel should be the subject of their attention.
Hamas was condemned by numerous protest, but many also expressed anger toward Israel, the Palestinian Authority, and Muslim negotiators.
A protester in Jabaliya said,” People failed us,” and he said it without being identified out of fear of retribution.
A 19-year-old prototype described how his family has been forced to relocate numerous times since the battle started. He said,” People are angry at the entire world.” We want Hamas to ending this conflict, bring the hostages back, and put an end to it.
Israel reacts to hostility in Syria.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz pleaded with Palestinians to keep up their protests and for them to “demand the immediate discharge of all Jewish victims and the removal of Hamas from Gaza.”
Following a breakdown in peace negotiations, a new influx of Israeli problems erupted in the protests. Israel re-instated its embargo earlier this month, preventing all food, gas, and medical shipments to Gaza.
Israel has pledged to fight unabated until Hamas dismantles, loses, and frees the 59 hostages it still holds, 24 of whom are thought to be still alive. Has turned down the request for a perfect Jewish withdrawal and the transfer of Arab prisoners in exchange.
The protracted conflict in Gaza
