This is proof to the contrary, according to a doctor who says,” For anyone out there who thinks our kids aren’t looking to become nourished in their beliefs, this is information.”
465 students have enrolled in the largest school on campus this quarter thanks to the University of Notre Dame’s fresh training on C. S. Lewis’s works.
Although this course does not serve any requirements for graduation, the Indiana Catholic University’s class enrollment reached its highest point, and some unregulated students continued to attend merely to sit in the aisles, according to Professor William Mattison III, who spoke to The College Fix.  ,
He described the program as” a wonderful signal of the Spirit.” In addition, a liberal advocate claimed that The Fix Lewis’s truth-seeking approach is essential for a thorough education.
Theologian and writer C. S. Lewis wrote about living virtueously across all categories.
The group, titled” C. S. Lewis on God, Evil, Virtue and Vice,” examines important Christian principles through inquiries of good and evil and their impact on the human experience, according to The British Rover. Its focus is on Lewis ‘ The Screwtape Letters, Mere Christianity, and The Great Divorce.
This is proof to the contrary, Mattison said to The Fix,” For anyone out there who thinks our kids aren’t looking to become nourished in their devotion.”
Mattison uses Lewis ‘ books to explore these significant issues while bringing them to light from his own personal experience.
Our hypocrisies about who God is and why there is evil in the world really manifest in the play of our own lives, both individually and collectively, he said.

As kids “build the habit of sharing their beliefs life with those around them,” Mattison said he hopes learners will leave feeling appreciative of the academic solidity and utility of trust.
Students are required to “write their individual Screwtape Words, set in the existence of a Notre Dame student,” according to The British Rover.
According to Mattison,” they’re supposed to write from the standpoint of the demons, how to make someone do something bad, and how to demonstrate that they have an understanding of how human beings operate and how to do thus in a way that is both God’s will and God’s way,” they wrote.
The doctor wants to collect the best ideas for a publication called The Devilish Leprechaun Letters.
According to Joseph Backholm, a senior colleague at the Family Research Council, who adds a broader perspective, theologians like Lewis are essential to an academically rigorous training.
C. S. Lewis is only available to those who enjoys thinking critically about issues that subject, he said.
For those of us who are Catholics, we are Christian not because it is useful or helpful but because it is really true, he said. The purpose of training is to find the fact.
According to Notre Dame sophomore Michael Urban, who echoes this focus on trust, “everything that’s gained is simply religious, and it’s wonderful to see that come to fruition as we talk with each other.”
It is absolutely incredible how all of us just want to be fed spiritually, he said.
Yet though I don’t understand many of the room’s residents, the group “feels like a great meeting of friends,” he said.
