White House press director Karoline Leavitt was instantly pushing up against the impact of important leaders sharing military invasion plans with a journalist as Vice President JD Vance delivered a motivational speech to the Marine Corps Base at Quantico on Wednesday evening.
While Leavitt received numerous inquiries about Jeffrey Goldberg from The Atlantic and The being accidentally added to a Signal class discussion about plans to attack Houthi jihadists in Yemen, Vance did not address the issue during his nearly 10-minute conversation.
Vance, national surveillance director Mike Waltz, secretary of state Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and director of national intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, among others, were among the best figures in the discussion.
Vance only mentioned that his talk was delayed by two days as he met with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
The reason I was a little late was because I was speaking to the president in the Oval Office and stood up and said,” Sir, I know we’re in the middle of something, but the Marines at Quantico are waiting on me,” Vance told the crowd of Marines at the base in Virginia.
” And he said,” Oh, I didn’t realize that. You gotta leave this place, Vance said. And I responded,” Do you have a text you want me to offer?” The American president said he wanted to let me tell you two things: first, that he loves you, and minute, that he is proud of you.
The vice president praised the Marines for meeting their recruiting goals, praised the$ 1.5 trillion in manufacturing expansion to improve the Marines ‘ ability to acquire better weapons, and praised the termination of diversity training.
We think that you all come from all walks of life, which is what gives the United States Marine Corps its true power and variety. You have the power and goal of winning the country’s war, said Vance, and you must travel from all over America. The Marine Corps will do that, just like it has done for close to 250 times.
Leavitt, who was again at the White House, initially delayed the media presentation, which was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET, until after Vance’s remarks were delivered. Before the evil president arrived in Quantico, Leavitt next unavoidably began the lecture, which came to an end shortly after.
I understand the vice president is going to be speaking at any time now. As she came to a close, Leavitt said,” I would love to counter-program the vice president of the United States.”
Leavitt was questioned by reporters about Goldberg publishing the talk information after the presidency claimed no classified information was shared and whether any members of the Trump administration, such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, may lose their jobs during Wednesday’s press briefing.
Leavitt first said,” The mayor’s watch on all of this is the same as it was yesterday,” before repeating it in response to more doubting.
Nevertheless, she avoided mentioning whether anyone would be fired.
Leavitt said,” What I can say without a doubt is what I just spoke to the senator about, and he continues to have confidence in his national security team.”
Lake added that any reports that special minister Steve Witkoff used Signal on his individual unit were “absolutely fake.”
The party chat’s inclusion of Goldberg may be investigated by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Performance.
Kind cited the White House Counsel’s Office, the National Security Council, and, yes, Elon Musk’s team as examples, as well as, informing which organizations may lead the investigation. Elon Musk has offered to work with his technical experts to discover how this amount was accidentally added to the conversation.
Vance also made a stop at a firing range during his 40-minute attend to Quantico, where he fired five different arms.
After firing the shots, Vance was heard saying,” Wow!”
A Vance spokesman confirmed to reporters that Quantico Marines had created a piece for his helmet that read,” THE Sergeant OF MARINES.”
