As someone who once lived on a ticket, I can attest that many non-Indians ( their expression, not me ) make the error of discrimination native people, either with bad intentions or fundamentally good purposes. It is all too common for people to view local people as careless stewards of the condition or as mystical earth fathers who engage in deep philosophical debates with pine trees regularly.  ,

In reality, the U.S. community has the same level of thought, politics, goals, and dreams as any other group. They use the same materials, follow the same rules as everyone else, and use the same methods as other people do. And their children keep pestering them for the same pricey, foolish material as their own. Some people may not be aware of this, but I’ve known Native Americans who were ardent liberals and frequented Rush Limbaugh’s radio.
In light of the Daily Caller’s report that a coalition of native Alaskan communities and businesses has publicly supported Trump’s plan to increase drilling in the Last Frontier, specifically the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge ( ANWR ).
The organization’s name is the Arctic Iupiat. Nagruk Harcharek, the organization’s leader, claims that despite claims that the organization is pro-oil and gas, the volunteer proponents for economic development to help local communities. He claims that the party has a cautious positive outlook regarding the administration’s decision to restart drilling in ANWR.  ,
We think we’ll be able to accomplish some things with a more positive administration, but we’re also being cautious because we don’t want to compromise that historical foundation and way of life that we rely on every day, according to Harcharek.

According to The Daily Caller:
Harcharek pointed out that 95 % of the North Slope budget is funded by taxes on the oil and gas equipment. Oil and gas activity is what he claimed North Slope’s business is. According to Harcharek, the “economic basic our first leaders ensured that we had entry to” provided for institutions, care, streets, and running water. The community’s concern is that without the development of oil and gas resources, it is forced to concentrate on the state and the federal government.
Harcharek claimed that the Biden administration marketed itself as pleasant to indigenous tribes, but cultural needs and objectives were frequently ignored, and his business was required to learn about policy decisions from the press.  ,
Harcharek made it clear that the Biden administration had promised to “meaningful conversation with the Aboriginal communities who stand to be most affected by plan decisions” and that they “were hopeful that it would be included in those conversations” surrounding the National Petroleum Reserve. Although there was “very little consultation,” he claimed, this had an impact on their “backyard.” ” We were frequently learning policy changes in the news,” said Harcharek. Which, given that they have our phone numbers, is not ideal?
The Voice of the Arctic Iupiat is influenced by various tribal groups. The Blaze claims that the Native Movement and the Sovereign Institute for a Living Arctic are unwaveringly opposed to reintroducing drilling in the ANWR. This is acceptable; it is a discussion that tribe members can have among themselves.  ,

Drilling can be done responsibly, and tribes who support the Native Movement’s claim that” We can make a living without cannibalizing our lands” need to take a long, hard look at the options and seriously crunch the numbers need to take a long, hard look at them. They also need to pay close attention to the fact that the previous administration lacked genuine interest in upholding tribal interests when they almost forget they were even there.
