Leonel Moreno, a Colombian immigrant, was deported back to Venezuela after receiving attention for criticizing the US government’s “handouts” and urging illegal border crossings to sit in American homes. His treatment comes as a result of US President Donald Trump‘s renewed imprisonment work.
Moreno, who is renowned for his contentious TikTok videos, which extolled the benefits of US happiness and warned people to “invade abandoned homes,” was returned this year, according to a report from the New York Post. His departure, however, was dramatized by a disruption apparently caused by him to board the plane, which added to the additional security that was placed in a different area of the plane.
Moreno’s profit was welcomed by Venezuela’s Diosdado Cabello, who is responsible for the interior, justice, and tranquility of the country, but why he stifled the flight is still undetermined. Moreno gave a thumbs-up as he was led off the airplane after landing, and he did so.
From widespread acclaim to imprisonment
Moreno was deported into the US after crossing the Texas border illegally in April 2022. In addition, he later refused to comply with immigration and customs enforcement ( ICE ) check-ins, which led to his arrest in Ohio in March 2024.
In October 2023, an immigration prosecutor had ordered his imprisonment, but Venezuela at the time refused to accept US imprisonment flights. Moreno was transferred to an ICE detention facility in Texas in readiness for his treatment following Trump’s resumption of persecution to the region.
Outrage over his obscene behavior on social internet
Moreno caused a stir on social media while he was a US citizen through his articles. He often displayed large sums of money while claiming he didn’t” traverse the Rio Grande to function like a slave.” He claimed that” Papa Biden” was fully funding his daughter’s birth and that he should use her US-born child to increase his social media presence.
Moreover, ICE was looking into Moreno’s reported past as a lieutenant in Venezuela’s military intelligence service as well as his alleged online weapons use.
says of “persecution”
Before his imprisonment, Moreno defended his innocence, claiming that both Venezuela and the US had unfair persecution against him.
He told investigators,” I came here because my country is oppressed, but they’re treating me the same way.”
Despite his protests, Moreno’s imprisonment is a significant step in the direction of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal emigration.
